    Flat Roof Leak

Hi, Approx 4 years ago I had my garage converted to a room and had a roofer come in and replace the felt roof with insulated EPDM. We have subsequently had issues with a leak which appears to be where the flat roof meets a partially pitched roof. The roofer that initially did the work...

    Replace Garden Retaining Wall

Hi, I'm looking for some advice regarding replacing a retaining garden wall. Pictures are attached of the wall when we bought the house 5 years ago. The wall is now bowing quite a lot in the middle and you can visibly see water coming through the mortar when large amounts of water...

    Leaning retaining wall

I have a problem in our back garden with a retaining wall. The wall is approximately 6m long and .8m high. It is leaning in the middle of the wall and there appears to be lots of cracks in the wall, I will try and upload a picture later today. The wall is retaining the rest of my garden which...

    Electrics to a conservatory

Just spoke to him, he is using SWA. He said that something like a 2KW heater will be fine with what he is doing. I think I will get the building inspector to check it out, they are coming out to inspect some other work I have recently had done.

    Electrics to a conservatory

Yeah it is what I thought, I think I will call the conservatory people and say I am unsure about the guy they have sent out. I got her to ask him if what he is doing conforms to Part P and he said it did but it does sound a bit dodgy to me.

    Worcester 24cdi a few questions

Thanks for all the advice and replies, will try the test and see if i have a problem. Another thing that occurred to me last night was that it takes between 10-30 seconds to get hot, is this normal for a combi? I assumed it would take some time as it is heating the water on demand.

    Worcester 24cdi a few questions

Hi, I have just moved into a house where they have a Worcester 24cdi combi boiler installed and wanted to ask a few questions: 1. At present the hot water seems to be quite a bit lower pressure than the cold, never having had a combi boiler before I don't know if this is normal, is it...
