Thanks everyone I have taken down the lights and found that all my earth wires in my light fittings do not have sleeves. Would this most likely be causing the problem??

Please can some one help i woke up this morning to find my downstairs lights didnt work i checked the CU and the Fuse had blown so i replaced the fuse and it blew again after rougthly 5 mins. I have a small tester and it seems i have a live to earth short and was wondering if anyone could please...
