At the moment I'm experiencing exactly the same problem as above, having done all the above fault checking with no luck, Flynne did you have to replace the SCR or did you find a fix for the problem - Thanks

The flow from the hot tap has reduced to a trickle, so little that the combi boiler won’t kick in, even with the tap turned fully on. Can anybody suggest a remedy to fix this problem as I’m very reluctant to cough up £100 for a new one
