Thanks to all for your input. I'll pop to CEF and check to see if the RD60 will fit. This is exactly what's happen to the SET60CV. But this was in a bedroom. Once again many thanks for the help.

    SET60CV Lighting Transformer

Hi all. Any one know of a uk supplier (or online store) were I could purchase (one) SET60CV lighting transformer. If an alternative transformer is recommended then it must be the same physical size with the hole in as it's to replace one in a light fitting. Any advice would be...

    Diversity?

Sorry I appreciate using in terms of a ring of sockets but on a radial with one or two (incase of oven and hob) units on of which you know the possible total draw in advance seems a bit odd.

Thanks for the quick reply. The house is a terraced built 1910 and so never used industrially. It's not armoured cable but the grey outer jacket is rubbery (like flex) though much thicker. Also the internal cores of each cable consist of half a dozen thick copper strands (like armoured). -...

15Kw plus Cooker/hob and cable colours!

Hi all. I am in the middle of a kitchen rip out and when removing a cupboard have found what I assume is the old cooker point (terminated thick cable - no switch or socket). Firstly the cable is almost an inch thick (and round) with three insulated cores Red, Blue, Yellow. Would I be correct...
