    T&G Floorboards or 22mm chip?

    The chip would probably be your best bet. If you can, lay some insulation between the floor joists to keep off the cold air from the garage. Also, don't forget some underlay - it all helps keep residual heat in. Is the central heating getting extended into there?

    Stop Cock - dripping !

    Just had the same problem with an old stop tap. Gave the gland nut a bit of a turn and all is lovely. Even lubed the shaft of the tap with a bit of vaseline to ease the movement some. Fingers crossed it's all good
