For anyone who might have a similar shower. I was looking through images on a google search and found a shower head that looked similar. Emailed the company, Novellini, and they have come back the next morning with a schematic drawing for me to look at. Very good communication thus far.

Thanks for your reply catlad. I’ve edited post, flies was flues! A standard clay air vent would mean removing bricks. And the bricks don’t line up with the chambers.

I used the following utube clip to diagnose. I’m not sure whether my blade spun, but I came to the same problem source without as much visible damage to the ‘flange’ as we call it in the UK.

Thanks for reply, the blade wobbles regardless of load. The only thing that could possibly have caused it is that the blade jammed during an awkward cut. I have checked the ‘rock’ and can’t feel any issue there.
