Filling the gaps between exposed Floor Boards

I am in the process of exposing the floor boards in my bathroom and painting them over (waterproof paint of course) because we fancy a wooden floor as oppose to tiles, lino etc. I am intending to fill the gaps between the boards with pva glue and sawdust but what sort of mix do you use, anyone...

Well, long overdue but here is the series of pictures so far from before to after! I am currently saving up for the facia and roof materials so it has a temporary one at the moment. The interior is still in progress as well, I intend to have two work benches and a whole wall of racking to store...

Just had a party to celebrate my 40th and all my friends were round, very complimentry about the shed! Which is gratifying in a sad middle aged sort of way...

    Self Build Shed

Cheers for that Leeco Yup I had already checked that I wasn't in contravention of planning and building regs! Believe it or not the garden is actually 100ft long, although the pic makes it look smaller. The next nearest house is next door so it's not even a nuisance to anyone else.

    Self Build Shed

It was absoloutely tipping it down on the day we had arranged to lay the base and as my friends had travelled some distance we only had one day to do it! Hence the survival shelter. I mentioned to the missus today that the shed would be good enough to live in and her reply was, 'with the time...

    Self Build Shed

Having looked at prices and build quality of various sheds I have decided to build my own, now I am by no means a builder, I like to 'have a go' and have no money so a self build seemed a good idea. It has perhaps worked out a little more expensive than I optomistically estimated but the beauty...

    Shed base

I am also laying a shed base of similar dimensions at the moment, 12x12, I have been reliably informed no dpm is needed but the base should of course be above ground level, a mix of about 6 bags of cement -1ton of ballast seems to be the norm, as to overall quantity, I too would like to know...
