I have a regular wb cd30i combi interesting about the deltas. I may of been conservative on 9kwh I'm going to check the kWh on each.

the diagram is spot on :-) it feeds 7 rads downstairs around 9Kwh in total. The boiler is two years old a bosh worcester greenstar 30cdi. Ive not attempted a full rebalance with the new rads in place.

the section that has the 15mm tees off to feed a rad in one of the bedrooms. The section after where it returns to 22mm feeds the bathroom and the rest of the downstairs radiators. The radiators i replaced were all downstairs so i have left them open as there at the end of the circuit.

two of the five tee off a 22mm pipe the 22mm pipe then disappeas out of sight until i can lift the foorboards. the other three are a good size 1600*700 double panel a 1400*700 single and a double 1000*700.

from memory its 22mm then 15mm branches off it to the rads, will need to lift a few floorboards to see.

there are five rads that come off the same pipework and two are ok, the other three are the problem ones. Im now wondering if there is a blockage, although when i turned off all the rads apart from one of the troblesome ones it did get very hot usually the lockshield end is fairly cool.

one radiators is very toasty at the mo, ill see what its like now all the others have been put back on

just closed off all rads apaprt from on of the problem ones see how that goes for an hour or so

ive turned all the rads off apart from one of the affected and its still doing the same surely balancing aint going to fix it?

nope used x800 during the flush will look at balancing the rads to see if that helps.

Thanks for all the responses still a bit confused by it all have taken all radiators outside and given them a heavy spanking with a rubber mallet previously. I dont think its aflow issue as three other rads downstairs get hotter than hell as do the upstairs rads.
