    Concrete floor not level

Hi, yes it is a garage floor! ive just discovered that the top layer of the floor is actually ashphalt and it is approx 1cm thick. it comes off really easily and it is solid concrete underneath. would you think its best to take the ashphalt off and concrete everywhere? or just put everything on...

    Concrete floor not level

hi, i have a concrete floor, however it is not level. for example one side of the area is perfectly level and cannot go any thicker due to equipment bedded into the floor. however the other side is approx 2 inches lower making it quite a slope. i was initially thinking self levelling compound...

No hot water pressure when other taps are on.

okay, been doing some reasearch and came accross this : http://www.gasapplianceguide.co.uk/torrent_direct.htm disadvantage is that it is electricity heated and it costs quite a bit. but i suppose these will be redeemed by no need of servicing every year, can fit myself, and no need to bring a...

    Leaking Rainwater Pipe Joints

hi, just had to modify my Rainwater downpipe because a soilpipe (horizontal) now comes in the way due to a new bathroom. before the rainwater pipe was straight down into the gutter. now it has to go around the new soilpipe. however some of the joints that i have added are leaking. it is a...

No hot water pressure when other taps are on.

thank for the replies. just another question. my cold water at top floor is actually quite good. if someone switches cold or hot water tap on from downstairs, the cold water flow is just below full pressure. will this not be sufficient for the multipoint? thanks

No hot water pressure when other taps are on.

hi, i have 4 floors. 1st:kitchen 2nd:ravenheat combi boiler 3rd: toilet and sink 4th: bathroom w/ shower the problem is that when having shower/bath, if someone else switches hot water on from anywhere downstairs the pressure of the bath/shower is very little or none. you have to wait...

Ravenheat RSF 84et- Hot water not not enough!!!

hi again, didnt get a chance to swap/change the diverter valve. however, i checked again and the CH pipe is getting hot when tap is switched on. i also closed the CH pipe, so that no water would flow into that particular pipe and the water from the tap became very hot indeed. does this...

Ravenheat RSF 84et- Hot water not not enough!!!

@Slugbabydotcom. i have also changed the CH sensor but just forgot to merntion it. also, ill try the potentionmeter. @Agile what do you actually mean by check at the meter? would that be the mains gas meter? if so it takes (with the hot bath tap on) either 0.045 m3 a minute, or 0.45m3 a...

Ravenheat RSF 84et- Hot water not not enough!!!

i did measure it at the bath tap. in 1 minute it produced approx 9 litres. in my other house i have the same boiler and it produces 10 litres in 1 minute and the water is basically too hot to touch if you put the potentionmeter to max.

Ravenheat RSF 84et- Hot water not not enough!!!

hi, thanks for the replies. i thought about changing the DHW potentiometer, but when i move to min position the water goes cold. i.e. it works accordingly if i play with the temp. is there still a possibility i would have to change it? thanks
