Yes I have a dimmer switch but my connector block is a three piece block. the earth wires connect to a screw on the light.

There is already a connector block with brown and blue, why do i need another connector block?

The block on the lamp has one brown wire and one blue wire connected and the a loop whole which has nothing connected to it/

Does switched live = loop in block?

There is also a loop in box, will that help?

Copper wire = earthed yellow & green = earthed Red x 2 = live black red sleeve = live black = neutral

Hi, I have done as advised in WIKI and the light is working. However it is permanently switched on!! I am unable to switch off via the wall switch? Any suggestions?
