In Cyprus the supplier gives you 30A-3phase 415v.
The electrical designers put 32a mcb for ring sockets and 40A mcb for the floor.
For some time ( not instantneous), the load in the ring or in the floor requires more than 30A.
Which one will trip first the fuse of the supplier or...
Why the rated current of DP switch to be bigger than rated current of MCB? (I mean that the MCB will not trip earlier than DP when causing overcurrent?)
Thanks Stoday and others. However, I am from Cyprus (Greek Side) and we apply the UK regulation (Wiring Regulations 16th edition, BS 7671:2001(2004)) The distribution voltage and the grid in Cyprus is similar with english standards.
What current (provision) does need a house from provider for these requirements below?
(I do not have specifications, but let's suppose usual machines)
