    I have aPremier Odyssey 5E box connected to an Optima panel, today i removed the 240v feed and the whole system went dead, i appreciate the panel battery must be shot but is there anything servicable in the Odyssey box. The system was working ok until now.

    of course i listen to advice, i was given advice 3 years ago and have had no problem since....the assumption on here seems to be that if everybody on my block fits a durgo then i might have a problem....thats not likely to happen to 4 other properties and it will be easy to see if anyone else...

    I have an internal soil stack which used to vent through the roof, after some roof repairs i cut it below the roof and fitted an air admittance valve ( durgo) Could someone advice how low i can take the soil pipe with the aav fitted.

    as i said at present i have a power shower (pumped) which when my son uses it probably wastes enough water to fill a bath Will i be able to run the combi to a conventional shower mixer??? and will it perform ok

    Ok turned garden tap and kitchen tap on full whilst doing so filled a 9 litre bucket up from garden tap and this took 37 seconds, then filled same bucket up from kitchen tap and this took 1 minute 51 secs. Is this what you meant. garden now flooded!!!! :shock:

    Flush valves

    Have you disturbed the flush pipe underneath?? If the pipe gets pushed too far up the outlet of the cistern then it can stop the valve from seating properly and you get a leak like yours, most manufactorers recommend only 20mm of flushpipe is inserted into the outlet...thats not much!!.

    having just fitted a back to wall pan i now find a small drip coming from where the flush pipe enters the pan.... the seal is like a clear plastic finned device . should i take it back out and seal it, if so should i use silicon or something like hawk white jointing paste thanks in...
