    Pointless bickering

moron joe, you keep going on about locked panels ect, if you are talking about chip reading i have been there and done it years ago and am not about to expose it to your pea brain or the public. the best thing you could do with a locked panel is get a plasterer mate to drop it on your head...

The person in question may well be about 13, we don't know. What we do know is they should not be given access to this section of the forum. They have no idea and totally throw the OP off. I have/had decided to spend more time on here, and also have some very knowledgeable colleagues who...

Installation instructions for a Gardtec 360?

yes it is fixed, not often used IME. Its not like the old concept/optima where they needed a 12 core rkp and you had to take the first zones to the rkp. More often all the detectors are just taken back to the panel Sorry i don't post install manuals, a have the user if thats any good to you?

ok, no problem.[although i never said it was my eshop] but does that make it any less relevant? the fact that staff from this eshop are willing to give time on here to advise and help[not just on stuff we sell] should be a plus in my book?

    Alarm system for my house

it all depends on what you want and the installer i prefer gardtecs wireless range, it meets the same grade as wired and is so much less hassle to install. its that good it can be installed for a police response system, unlike cheapo wireless gear from the diy sheds and alike. feel free to...

    8-core alarm cable

Prices are very keen you idiot, but i won't post anymore links as i have been asked not to. As for your advice, what are you a BT 'engineer' [I use the term loosely] i may spend a little more time on here in future as some of the advice is just a joke. Telling someone to design a system...

    8-core alarm cable

Its a total cowboy way of doing it anyway, you should run cables from each device back to the panel. Never design i system with joints, it only leads to problems. loads of bargains here if you need anything ***Advertising link removed***

    New security system - planning

I always recommend shocksensors [shockgard - gardtecs range] this way the intruder is on the outside not the inside when the system is activated. Also install the odd pet PIR[rokonet zodiac are the best IMO.] as a back-up if they get in somewhere you wouldn't expect. also the Gardtec CPX...
