    Roof vent tile

Hi noseall Thanks for your reply! My main concern is the fact that the roofing felt under the tile will have to be cut to make way for the hose. I want to make sure that the roof is still watertight after I've fitted it. Is this a concern? Thanks again!

Hi all I have a marley modern tiled roof which is about 6 years old. I want to fit a vent tile to expel the moisture from the bathroom. How hard a job is this? I've tried to see if i could expel via the eaves, but due to the design of the loft space, this is not possible. I know I could...

Hi chrishutt The guy who came to check the pressure/flow from our supplier never mentioned anything about the replacement scheme, but then again it wouldn't surprise me anyway if he didn't know either! I'll certainly chase it up tho. Thanks.

    Replace copper piping?

Hi Pete Thanks for your reply. I've just had a peek at their web-site. As long as the works up to a certain standard it's OK. I've re-plumbed a lot of my house, so doing it doesn't concern me too much! My main question for this post is how do I connect the new plastic pipe to the...

    Glow worm combi boiler

Hi andsam I'm pretty sure it is trying to ignite. It gives the same clicking noise when it does ignite properly. My Glow Worm combi is from the "Compact" range. One other note, in the 5 or so years I've had the system, the boiler has never been serviced. Many thanks GazKaz

    Square tap holes in bath!

Hi everyone I'm in the process of putting a new mixer tap in our bath. I took out the old taps and the holes that were left in the bath are square. My new taps are round and when I put my new taps in, you can see the corners of the square holes and this would not be a watertight seal...

    Air in Towel Rad

Hi Bas I don't think I've got a leaky valve as I have no wet patches anywhere near the rads, and also I'm not losing any pressure from the system. I can't see it being corrosion as the system is only 4 years old. When you say it could be getting sucked in by a vent pipe, which vent pipe...
