I've just moved into a Victorian house which has fantastic red quarry tiles in the dining room, but there are patches of cement on them, and also some sort of heavy duty glue/sticky stuff. What can I use to get rid of these? Thanks

I've got a baxi boiler and no matter how many times i try, the pilot won't light. I can hear the gas going through, and the igniter button clicks but no joy. What's the likely problem? Any tricks to get it on? If not, how much is it going to cost me to get fixed? cheers
