I didnt say it was a good idea (calling a gas man would be a good idea ) , i just said thats how you could find out . is it illegal if its your own house
Its easy to findout if its dripping , turn off gas and electric , take off the front cover then open the combustion chamber front . If theres water in there its leaking!
Anyway im glad your back , most people on here just say ohhhhh call a corgi guy (and before people start i know all gas jobs should be done by a corgi guy )
Got a new gas bloke coming on monday , charges £35 +vat call out then we see were we go , i asked for a price to replace the gas valve but he wouldnt give one , supose he knows best!
just been listening to my boiler again im paranoid now lol , . This is what happens the fan starts then theres a small bang and then the whoooseh of the boiler lighting, any ideas what the bang could be ? (my corgi servise bloke said to ignore it !)
Yes i had it serviced by a corgi guy last month ( he told me all boilers make a small bang when they ignite ) Sorry for not beliving the allmighty gargi card holder :(
Ive got a baxi 105e its around 5 years old and it makes a bang when the flame cuts in (about as loud as nocking your knuckles on a table ). Does this mean a part is about to go ?
