I have an issue in an upstairs en-suite and separate bathroom, where the cold water supply to both has gradually ceased over the last week. Both areas have showers which have loft based power mixers and these are working fine. if I put the showers on, they both take water from the cold water...

Drained Cold Water Tank - No water to taps now

I'm still stuck with this one chaps. I have drained the water tank three times now. Once to take the old syphon unit off, then when I fitted the new one and then again when I fitted the new instream valve. Now I have water to the taps upstairs & downstairs, but a mere dribble to both the...

Drained Cold Water Tank - No water to taps now

Right, I've switched on all the taps, back filled via the mixer and now I have water to everywhere except the upstairs loo...which strangely is what I was working on!! I've replaced the syphon, but the Torbeck input feed is barely dribbling in. Thoughts????

    Cracked Lintel Above Window

Gents, Thanks for the responses, however, I'd really like an answer to the questions: Can it be patched/filled? Must it be replaced? An idea of cost would be good too? Cheers

    Cracked Lintel Above Window

I will call the insurers, just after a bit of advice as to whether the lintel is repairable or not, and how risky it is NOT to do so. The window company did not put the lintel in. It's the original from the 60's build. Cheers

    Cracked Lintel Above Window

Hi, I'd like some advice please. About 5 years ago I had a mid-1960's house fitted with full double glazing, doors and a conservatory. The company offer a 20-year guarantee on the windows, but I'm not sure about the work? I am about to move home and I have just noticed that the lintel above...
