    turned the outlet and inlet pipes for the CH off, and that seemed to work for the shower :) Bit of a PITA to do that everytime seeing as it is winter, and need the heating, but it should do till I work out how to fix it properly :) cheers Gary

    In addition, are there any temporary measures to restore the hot water? even if this means loosing the heating, I would rather have hot water Cheers Gary

    Cheers, I have just tried this as I replaced the Diaphragm and it seemed to be fine but has gone back to being cold again. It would appear the DV is passing, as the heating gets hot even when off and not the tap water. what is the fix? Cheers Gary
