Unfortunately there is only a bleed valve on the central heating part of the system, water comes out of the pump central screw when opened. Would it help if I turned the pump round the other way, or would this cause other complications.

I have an older central heating system using two pumps, one for CH and one for hot water.As a new radiator was fitted I put an inhibitor in via the header tank.Since then the hot water has not heated. The pumps are working OK but the return pipe for hot water is barely warm. I suspect the pipes...
