Have discovered that the wiring to the pump has never been correct. An earthwire was used resleeved as RED and then was confused with another RED wire getting crossed over so pump demand was all wrong. Thanks a lot everyone. Mission successful. You've all been really helpful. I AM A HAPPY...

The valve was replaced because it had seized up completely. Have now checked that the A&B Ports are connected correctly. It does also seem that the programmer is correctly switching the valve between A, B and A/B. The problem then seems to be elsewhere. :roll: :roll: The programmer does...

Help for female in distress... Plumber installed new valve on CH. Took away paperwork, including wiring diagram. Found the wiring not correct ie CH only working when HW is on... cannot separate, so programmer effectively just working as an on/off switch. Can anyone tell me how to wire up...
