Lol, there is a platform behind the toilet and the pipes come from the platform into the toilet. Will the valve that I need to replace be specific to the toilet brand?

Thanks so far... and my final question once I remove the mixer, whats the best way of locating the leak? I will deffo be switching water supply off before any work is done. Is it just a matter of getting a torch and hoping the leak is obvious?
