Ahh that's great I think I should be ok then. The pic shows how I've done it you can't quite tell that the door frame has a bit of a lip to account for the thickness of the plaster when it goes on the wall

Yeah the inside now has a bathroom and a boiler with rads....I spent a full day working in there on Thursday which is the first and only time I've seen the dampness.... Perhaps a combination of me being in there all day working and having the boileron for the longest it's ever been on.

you know that is an absolutly brilliant point about using bigger boards to prevent less joins, I hadn't even considered that. I absolutly dont want to be putting more horizontal joists in, as the PIR boards are already cut to size and installed. Ill live with the bigger boards....Ive got a 17...

Thats genius! I cant quite tell how it works from the photo, but assuming the bit holds your screw, and when your screw is at the right depth it shampfers around the screw hole? Assume they come in a pack of 10 because the impact driver will wipe the bits out at a rate of knotts?

Ive seen videos where the use dot and dab + nails (not screws) and some videos where they dont seem to countersink at all.... but I think as you say I may have been watching some US ones. Thank you.
