Sorry!! Yeah, I can make the whole system work perfectly well by turing up the water thermostat or the boiler thermostat. The motorised vale is cycling properly. The problem seems to be that the water stat is shutting down the boiler irrespective of what the room stat it telling it!!

Kapersky is very good, but the Norton 360 is completely rewritten and is significantly less demanding on system resource than the Internet Security package. It can also be installed on 3 separate machines (not one machine 3 times!) Buy a Mac though and you con't have to worry about any of it!!
