Thanks to eveyone for their input. Took your advicce and checked all connections in turn. Male baynet on loom to light fitting was dodgy on lights 2 and 3. Re-aligned them by about 1-2 mm, problem solved, all three are now working. Thanks for everyones help; may your light shine forever!!!!!

Thanks for response. Three downlighters on a loom, one transformer. Switch cabel is black (with small red indicator band on it). The light that is working is the first in the sequence. Connections to other lights seem ok and bulbs have been checked.
