What thing was ruined because it turned into a rich person's hobby?

Go to smaller gigs. You can sometimes catch bands that go on to be arena fillers, or just see a great band for a fraction of the price of an arena gig. And you actually get to see them up close, and not a dot on the horizon.

    Well done wind

As I said earlier, China has a habit of under promising, and over delivering on these things. They have carbon reduction commitments. They are not made up. Is it guaranteed they will make that target? no. But given their track record, it looks achievable.

China's projected electricity use: https://www.dnv.com/energy-transition-outlook/2025/greater-china/ Also, India is of course catching up on China, in terms of development, but they could by-pass much of the coal use that China has seen, as invest in renewables etc.

Our political system, what 'is' the answer?

Again, Strawman. No one is saying you dictate who can say something. Its the lies and disinformation that needs to be addressed, not who says it. I'm not here to give a full guide how to address it, but address it we must, because it will only get worse as long as they make money out of it.

Our political system, what 'is' the answer?

Holding billionaires accountable is so far from state owned media, that I hardly know where to start. Your post is a Strawman Argument. In fact your post demonstrates how people have become extreme in their views of our politicians. Starmer is in no way wanting to do that.

Our political system, what 'is' the answer?

We have a media owned by billionaires without consequences. They make profit from causing outrage and discord, far more in the last 10 years than at any time. If we don't tackle this, things won't improve, as they will continue to sew fear and division into society for their benefit. Brexit is...

    Climate Change

"We make the blades in Hull, the cables in Hartlepool..." This is for offshore wind which has the bigger capacity. Remember, onshore turbines are limited to 125m tall, which essentially limits it to 2-3MW. In reality, this is often even lower. Offshore, they go much larger, which is far more...
