    Removed pump, and seperated it etc. It was not rotating, but with a bit of a wiggle and a few light taps on the top I got it spinning. I think that there may be something inside it. Should I try to take it apart?

    Water spurts/shoots out and the spindle does not spin, although it is movable. If I move the spindle with a screwdriver the humming gets louder.

    Finishing refilling the system now. Should water drip, or shoot out of the pump when the large screw is removed? (Heating was on when I did this)

    I have removed the plastic screw. Do I now undo the metal one? I assume that I need to refill the system and turn on the electric. Do I need to turn on the boiler too?
