Thanks. It seems to me that the clutch never fully disengages even though I have my toe hard into the floor. In the interim I have arranged to return the car to the garage which replaced the clutch.
It is almost impossible to get into first / reverse gear without crashing it. This occurred shortly after clutch replacement which may or not be relative
Mine cost me £500 plus. Beware sticking cables this can cause the clutch to slip at high revs causing excessive wear, and premature clutch replacement.
