1930s house

I own a 1930s semi which i moved in to last year. I noticed damp on the rear external walls in the upstairs and down stairs rooms last winter. Brick work/ mortar wasnt great so I had the rear elevation pointed with lime mortar and still damp. I am yet to remove the plaster could this be the...
