Is it ever acceptable to exceed voltage drop limits if Zs is still within limits of OCPD?
Was reading an article on IET about whether it is permissible to exceeded the voltage drop limits in certain situations. Thus to further expanded the original question on IET; would it ever be acceptable if one exceeded the 5% voltage drop for power circuits / 3% voltage drop for lighting...- eveares

If the UK leaves the EU, will the nominal voltage be changed back to 240v?
The other day I was listing to a chat radio station and they were debating about whether we should or should not leave the EU. If we do end up leaving the EU, do you think the official nominal voltage in the UK will ever be re-increased from 230v to 240v along with everything else Europe has...- eveares
