6 panel

Ive recently been painting our skirting boards and door frames with satinwood, and I'm now noticing the 6 panel doors which are 10 years old could do with a touch up,can these be painted? It doesn't look like I can sand them much. I'm also wondering if I can repair the hole in one of the doors...
