beko dishwasher door

My Beko dishwasher suddenly made a pinging sound and now the door opens and closes freely, with no spring action. I assume there's either a broken spring or connecting cord - if that's the arrangement. Both are readily available, I see. Can anyone give me a link to a video specifically on Beko...
