    Gas pipe routed through window lintel

    Hi, We are having a new boiler fitted and I returned home yesterday to find our plummers have routed a 22mm gas pipe out through the brick lintel above a 2ft window. Aesthetics aside, which I can live with, have they compromised the structure of the lintel? Thanks
