    Wet wall and Bad spalling bricks (Ed.)

    Bought this property just over a year ago. Before competing we had survey and no damp reported, but some brick maintenance and repointing was reported. Bricks don’t appear to have gotten much worse, but I thought the damp looking patches would dry out over summer, as rear gets a lot of sun...

    Possible moisture in bricks

    Just had a side wall for the extension we're doing built yesterday. Some of the bricks they used have a much darker look - much more red than than brecken grey the rest are. All bricks are from the same batch and they are putting it down to moisture in the brick. Why they didn't use the dry...
