dimmer pir

Hello All I've had a 4-gang dimmer (varilight) installed. One of the modules is meant to control a set of pir security light (up/down type). I didn't realise that a pir would require a straight mains connection. So now the pir works fine until the dimmer cuts the signal. Is there a way around...
