    Power in fixing but no light

    I've put up a new light fixing in our bedroom - it's just a simple ceiling rose bought from Toolstation and was brand new. I don't have a load of electrical experience but understand the basics and have connected wires as directed online. The room already had a pendant light in it with a dimmer...
