plastering around door frame

Hi if anyone has any advice on what we should do here, the door architrave has got to be put on, but it doesn't quite reach the wall connecting, when it's been fitted there will still be a 2 inch gap, has anyone got any advice on how to fill this gap and connect it up the plastered wall? Many...
