porch lathes interwar 1920s patch plaster

We have just removed our rotting 1970s wooden porch frame from front of 1918-built semi. Mostly good; however, now small gap in ceiling and lathes exposed. This was previously “inside” as inside porch. Obviously patched in recent decades with gypsum-based plaster as repair now evident...
