samsung oven

I have a hardwired samsung BT621VDST oven, it's been working fine but all of a sudden there is a red horizontal bar that appears. When I turn the knob onto "single" mode, nothing happens (the fan won't even turn on). Any advice? Important - This problem started to occur when my son left 4 small...
