I'm in the middle of renovating the hall and stairs, and I'm planning to fit picture lights. Q1. I will chase the walls down from the ceiling, install wiring and cover with metal protective channels. How should I terminate the cable at this stage? I assume I don't need some sort of round metal...

Converted car port to domestic use, it had a single light, switched at a 4 gang just inside previous front door. This new room has a new supply arrangement, and new light switch inside the room, the previous switched supply is obsolete. I'd like a 3 gang 2 way switch to replace the old 4 gang...
