wall noise

my house is some stud wall wood but children knock it and make noise and echo when they get knocked. i want to make them at less noise, so maybe i can use some prpduct like foam to help the noise proof i can put some tray drill the wall and put tray then put a lot of foam maybe so the noise cant...
