Windsurfing Swansea bay to Lynton, N.Devon.... by accident?

....began to suspect something was wrong when the shoreline behind him vanished and he passed a huge cargo ship.....

Scariest moment was when he called his wife!

Two further, possibly scary moments.

1) About halfway across the wind died .. then freshened from the NE !!

2) Thumbing a lift on the M5 dressed in wet, wet suite wrapped in plastic, carrying a plank and scaffold tube....

Surfer.... 'Darling, can you come and pick me up please?'

Wife.... 'Where are you?'

long pause......


Surfer 'Devon....'

Wife - can't answer because she is rolling on the floor in hysterics.....
