Accenta g4

Hi everyone, new to DIYnot so please forgive me if I seem stupid!

Anyway, I want to replace my tired accenta g3 with a new accenta g4 because I think it will look better and I want an LCD screen.

but I noticed that on the g4 zones 7 and 8 are fire zones.
Is there anyway these can be programmed as normal zones as I need the full 8 zones for my house!

hi im sure that zones 7 and 8 can be used but not 100% certain when i install them i normally just link the last couple out as they arent big systems but i remember seeing a fire terminal on the top of the board not on the actual zones.

Yes.

Manufacturers set zones with a default, has to be something, just happens to be fire in this case. It's also a likely option anyway.
