Hi,
we have just inherited an AEG Lavamat 16800 washing machine and tried it out for the first time. I find that it goes straight from washing to drying without stopping and I cannot work out how to set it to wash only without drying.
any ideas.

It should only go onto drying if there's a drying time set. Is there a timer dial for the dryer? If so, perhaps it is not timing but is stuck in the on position.
