Alpha CB28 Burner failed to light

Just moved into a new house and boiler not been used for 6 months. Just turned it on and the "A" red light is continuously on which I have found out (and what it sounds like) the boiler is not lighting.

I have tried putting it to setting 3 "Reset" but this is not working.

Is there an master or internal reset? or

Does anyone know how to get it working?

Has the system got sufficient pressure. Should be 1-1.5 bar when cold. Top it up via the filling loop.

Are you sure there is a gas supply as in a working cooker?

And the gas valve under the boiler is been turned on?

Pressure is ok. We've not checked under the boiler so will check this.
