Alpha Intec 28XE thermostat receiver solution required

After removing the failed Salus BC600RX receiver from an Alpha Intec 28XE combi I require a recomendation for a solution to control it please.

I see Nest or Hive but really happy to hear what you would recommend. I really really really disliked the Salus RT501RF(TX).

Be nice to have something that will also allow a single press on/off for the heating instead of having to multiple click to raise/drop the temp.
