Archbishops unite against the BNP
The Archbishops of Canterbury and York have urged voters not to let anger over the expenses scandal drive them to vote for the BNP in next month's elections.

They said rather than caving in to anger, the elections were a chance to show higher ideals.
"It is an opportunity for renewing the vision of a community united by mutual respect, high ethical standards and the pursuit of justice and peace.

mutual respect
Not many MPs are earning any sort of respect at the moment.

high ethical standards
Not many MPs know what ‘ethical standards’ are never mind act by them.

pursuit of justice
Not many MPs will be brought to legal justice so the pursuit of justice is a load of twaddle.

The Churches should keep their nose out of politics and let people vote how and if they want, without being patronised by some bible bashers.
