Attach B&D Workmate Springs

Hi

Recently two tension springs have come of my B&D Workmate - from either side and I'm not 100% sure where they should reattach to. Can anyone please advise?

In this exploded diagram: http://images.toolpartsdirect.com/schematics/blackdecker/wm425_type_3.jpg ...they are items 41.

Typically both the same spring has come off - doesn't seem to have made much of a difference either!

item 41 and 21? 21 shows where one end is attatched to.. no idea on the other end..
