I have a alpha 240E, possibly 8 years old.
All of a sudden I get a drooning noise when hot water is called for, I am being lead to think that the plate h/e possibly needs to be dismantled and descaled.
What is the best stuff/solution to use to descale.
Also the last two times I have drained the system out to do repairs or move radiators I have had to replace the primary valve diaphram, this gets a tad expensive as the only way to get a daiphram was to buy the refurbishment kit costing me about £70 every time.
Could someone explain how to drain down the system with out damaging the diapham
