My one year old bbq has rusted in a couple of spots: the tray that catches pieces of coal/meat that fall down the grill and an area at the back of the barbecue.

Do I prime and paint this and what product is recommended for this please?

Welcome any other tips.

Try this, not sure that a primer would be needed but it should say on the tin, similar products can be found at local DIY sheds
