Client chose tap from taps4less which came with 2 flex connectors with a 6 mm bore. Called the company and was assured by girlie on the phone that it was guaranteed to deliver 24 l/min as long as there was 3 bar.
Does anyone know what the flow is likely to be in reality with a 6mm bore connector?
The other question is: was this an unlucky exception, or is this a company that is best avoided? At £150 it may not have been luxury tap, but not exactly cheapo either.

The main consideration is: is it fed at 'mains' pressure via combi or unvented cyclinder, or fed by an open vented conventional uk hot water system?

If it is open vented the pressure will be approx 0.2 bar if bathroom is on top floor and tank is in the loft.

Would have to be a fair sized house to reach the aforementioned 3 bar

Pushing it I'd have thought, thinking of small-bore shower hoses and tap connectors.

3bar dynamic pressure is unlikely , too, at 24l/min. I bet you lose most of that in the house plumbing.

Indeed, the problem is of course that if I fit it and it only gives 10 l/min, it can't be returned.

Try a cheapo flexy tap connector with a small bore and see what comes out...?
